Paintings of Iman Maleki

Iman was born on 1976 in Tehran.
He has been fascinated by the art of painting
since he was a child.
At the age of 15, he started to learn painting under
the mastery of his first and only teacher - Morteza Katouzian -
who is the greatest realist painter of Iran.
Meanwhile, he began to paint professionally.
In 1999 he graduated in Graphic Design from the Art University of Tehran. Since 1998, he has participated in several exhibitions.  He established ARA Painting Studio and started to teach painting, considering classical and traditional values.

Dear Iman,

My name is Wendy. My son has to do a school project and find 10 paintings where the subject is someone reading a book or a letter...and then write about it...trying to imagine what the person reading the book or the letter is thinking about.

Just googling paintings...your site came up and I just wanted to say how lovely your paintings are and THANK YOU SO MUCH...that we found 5 inspiring paintings in which the subjects are reading books. (I think my son will particularly like the one of the little boy making a paper airplane.)

I wish you health and happiness in the world and success with your work.

My father is a painter, and my brother...and I know how hard Life can be to be an artist.

Your art...is truly beautiful.

Have a lovely day.

Warmly, Wendy629
